Bring your bicycle or just your feet, and get ready to explore your community streets in a safer, healthier, more livable way.
Volunteer to be an Intersection SuperHero!
Core objectives:
• To promote active transportation, community health, public space, and a vibrant local economy.
Goals:
• Improve the health and increase physical activity of Bend residents
• Strengthen vitality within the community
• Demonstrate new equitable transportation designs, such as Neighborhood Greenways
• Reduce the dependence on motor vehicles by encouraging active transportation, such as walking, bicycling and riding transit.
• Increase awareness of sustainable transportation options
• Increase neighborhood livability and build community
• Create new opportunities for businesses, recirculating dollars directly into our local economy
